Mental Health Info/Support

We all go through challenges in life. Sometimes it’s helpful just to have an unbiased person to talk to. Sometimes we just need to be heard. Sometimes we need to learn concrete skills to manage our daily lives. Sometimes we need support in processing the deep traumas that have taken place in our lives. To help support The Collective, I would like to provide these resources:

Suicide/Crisis Support:

If you are feeling suicidal or are in immediate mental-health crisis, please dial 988 to connect with a provider trained in crisis management. For specific crisis supports, please refer to the American Psychological Association’s Crisis Hotlines and Resources.

Transgender Hotline:

For transgender and gender-expansive individuals looking for affirming crisis-support, please call (877)565-8860. Visit translifeline.org for more information and resources.

Psychology Today:

A wonderful resource to help with finding a therapist is Psychology Today. This website allows you to add a number of filters to find an ideal match for you and your needs. A few filters include: in-person or virtual providers, gender identity/sexual orientations, presenting issues (i.e. anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, etc.), types of therapy (i.e. EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, etc.), accepted insurances, and more!
